Missing funds

Hello,

I bought an item on eBay and received an email stating my payment did not go through. The money left my bank account but the seller says they did not receive it. I have tried reporting this to PayPal but I keep going round in circles.

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.

It says Payed with...then my bank card details. Also it shows the amount -£17.99 and gives me the option to "Split this"?

Forget split this, that is Its just another way to request money.
If you pay a bill and your friends want to chip in you can click on it and request their share from them.

However can you say if you paid via ebay checkout OR did you pay direct to the seller via logging in via paypal OR direct with a card?
