I'm trying to pay for something on an Italian website with Italian delivery address but with a UK card. They don't accept this so advised me to use paypal. It still doesn't seem to be working (ie paypal is set up with my UK bank details and address). Can the merchant know my address and therefore still be declining payment or is there an issue with my card? I only set up the paypal account today but as far as I can see my card is in there correctly. I even tried adding funds to my paypal account and using that but it still wasn't accepted.
