Link my card to paypal

Any one had this problem ? I’ve had this account ages and never had a problem sending or receiving payment. Last night 3 people try to send me payment , error stated the seller is not receiving payment , and asking me to link my card with a 4 digit code from my bank ... Can anyone help ?

has your card expired and needs updating?

is the billing address of the card the same as your paypal account address?

are you selling on a new email address and if so have you verified it?

My card is still in date ... I was on the phone to ebay for sometime , someone had changed my email to a unknown email address , I had to resist my items on eBay and change my email back to original PayPal address ... Looks like I’ve been hacked. I’ve received a payment now. Very strange one of my items I’ve listed on eBay I couldn’t change the hacked email address to had to cancel the listing
