Invoices How to Find

A merchant claims he has sent me an invoice via paypal. I cannot find any record of it nor can I find anything to do with invoices at all on Paypal. The virtual assistance does not even understand what I am referring to. Does anyone know anything about receiving invoices on Paypal?

Double check the email address he sent it to and make sure there were no spelling errors and that is correct and you have confirmed the email address.
