I want to receive money from my friend in United Kingdom

I am new to PayPal (from India), I just want to understand something, I'm receiving a donation from United Kingdom, I have linked my PayPalaccount to my bank account , is there anything else I have to do to receive the amount. Sorry I'm clueless. Any help would be appreciated
