I sent money to the wrong email address, but the payment is completed

I sent money to the wrong email address, but the payment is completed. What do I do?

Thank you for your post. 

I can understand that you have sent the payment to wrong email address. Usually once the payment gets initiated we will not get an option to cancel or reverse the payment. In this case we recommend you to contact the receiver and request them to process the refund using the below steps. 

Here's how to refund a payment:

  1. Click Activities near the top of the page.
  2. Click the payment you want to refund.
  3. Click Issue a refund.
  4. Enter the amount you would like to refund and an optional note to your buyer.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Review your information to make sure you entered the correct refund amount, and then click Issue Refund.
