Are you seller (received money) or buyer (sent money) in this scenario? If you're buyer and have been refunded you should be able to see that in transaction log. Your refunded money goes back to the way you purchased, if you used your payment card the money will go back there and it may take a few days before it appear back to your bank. If you used PayPal balance, you should get the money instantly to your balance. If you sold item and you issue a refund a payment. You would need the amount and currency on your PayPal balance to make the refund.
