I am not a service or vendor. I advanced/loaned the rent/paid for a house rented on behalf of my daughter's wedding party; to be reimbursed by the people who are staying there. Everyone reimbursed me by appropriately clicking on "Send to a Friend" as instructed. Two people clicked "Paying for an Item or Service" and I was charged the PayPal fee. Is it possible to have this corrected and have the fees refunded to me? Or can the people who incorrectly sent money "Paying for an Item or Service" correct, this so I will receive the full amount of their payment?

The only way you can sort it is to click on the transaction and use the refund option and then ask them to pay again using the correct option.
The % part of your fee would be refunded at the same time but you would lose the small cent fixed fee.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
