Hi
I planned to buy items from Harvey Norman in Sydney. When I was buying them through PayPal, PayPal charged my money. But I didn't receive any confirmation email from Harvey Norman and received an email from PayPal about sending money to Harvey Norman. I talked with Harvey Norman through live chat, they found my order to be rejected. I had already sent email to Security team of Harvey Norman. But I haven't got any response from them.
How can I get my money back?
Thanks

When buying from a merchant, they use a process called "authorization and capture". An authorization is processed and the funds are held until the merchant captures payment. If an order failed or rejected, the merchant can't capture the payment so the authorization eventually expires (no longer than 30 days) and disappears from your PayPal account activity and the funds released back to your funding source.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
