How long does it take

I’ve read somewhere it takes 1-2 pay period for direct deposit to show up, this will be my first pay period after switching. Have not received funds on a Wednesday will I have to wait until next pay period?

The information you recall is correct. During the direct deposit set-up, it will take 1-2 pay periods for the deposit to reflect in your PayPal account. The funds will be deposited into your PayPal balance.  After set-up, direct deposits will typically deposit in your PayPal account balance the same day the funds are submitted to PayPal.
