A seller told me he issued a full refund. After 3-4 days, I still see no refunds pending in my activity (nor did I receive any emails from Paypal) about this. Is he lying to me? Or is Paypal going to let me know about this only after they processed the refund?

Ok then as soon as a refund is issued you would have had an email from paypal telling you that AND it would show in your paypal account even if it was pending.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Did you pay the seller by logging into your paypal account or as a guest buyer?

I was logged into my account (I didn't even know I could pay on Paypal as a "guest buyer").

That was my experience as well with a couple of other refunds I asked over the years, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply, I'll wait until tuesday, and then I'll see whether I should escalate this with Paypal or not.
