Thank you for your post, and thank you to @benfielding214 for your answer! I wanted to clarify some information here. When a purchase is made using a bank as the payment method, the funds may not leave your bank account for several days. If the account has a card as a backup payment method, the recipient will get the funds immediately, but the transaction is still moving in the background and won't reflect in your bank until the bank acknowledges and allocates funds for the transaction.
