How long do refunds take?

I have paid a refunded $25 two times and was wondering how long it would take for the refund to come back. And I paid with card so will the money come into my card or my PayPal account?

I would also like to bump up this question and add whether it is possible to convert the refund to money in paypal instantly instead of waiting for my bank to get the money back til I can use that balance.
