How do payments work?

I am new to paypal and selling on ebay. I would like to check, when the payment comes to my paypal account will it automatically be transferred to my credit/debit card, that paypal has the details for?

No, payments are credited to your Paypal account balance.

Can't give you advice on withdrawing those funds as you haven't bothered to say what country you are in.
