How do I know if I’ve paid for the same item twice

I was contacted b the seller and asked to confirm I want to make payment. 

I did this and then noticed it said payment had been requested one month ago.

If you need to send money to another PayPal user, this can be done by following the steps when you click the Send Money tab on the PayPal website. 

If this person has sent you a payment request, all you need to do is login to the PayPal website and accept the payment. This will then complete a payment to the receiver's account.
