Help

Hello, I am very concerned with PayPal services.  Money was sent out of my pay pal account on Dec 30th via bank account.   That transaction was cancelled right away, within a matter of seconds.   This money came out of my account yesterday 1/2/2019 and bank has not refund evidence.  Why did this transaction still come out if it was canceled?  When can I expect this money to be back in my account.   Please see below.  I can be contacted at <removed>

  • DEC 30

    Joy <removed> PENDING Refund

    +$262.99

    Dec 30, Joy <removed>, PENDING, Refund, +$262.99

  • DEC 30

Joy <removed> Canceled – Money Sent

    -$262.99

You can cancel a transaction but not a processing payment that starts to process the second you pay..........

So when you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will then either return them to your funding source (if you paid with a debit or credit card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from your balance or instant bank transfer), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
