I have been issued a refund on ebay on 8/9 it says it will clear in 2 day's do I have to request funds or will it just show up in my PayPal account

If you funded the Paypal payment to the seller that was refunded via instant bank transfer then it will show in your Paypal balance once cleared.

If you funded the Paypal payment to the seller that was refunded via a debit card then it will go back automatically to your bank account once cleared.
