Help get my money back

I made a paypal payment via the ebay app (no other option was allowed for some reason) which has been taken from my bank and sent, but is pending and I am unable to cancel it. Also the seller of the item claims to be unable to access their paypal account so is refusing to send item as they’ve deemed I haven’t payed. I’d really like to be able to get my money back to be able to try pay in a different way

Sounds as if the seller may have an incorrect email address on their auction.

TELL YOUR SELLER TO DO THIS.

Go to ebay and click on 'sell' put in anything (as you aren't going to actually list anything) until you get to the main page > scroll down under ''postage'' and where it says payment methods check the email address that is on that page, is there a spelling mistake or old one?

Secondly, if it stays as pending / unclaimed and there isn't a cancel option then it should 'time out' at 30 days post payment.
