Someone said they sent me money a week ago, but I haven't seen it. It's about $4000 and he told us that he was doing a bank transfer (which I'd heard sometimes took a few days). It's been a week now and there's nothing showing in my account. I feel like there should at least be something saying that a payment was scheduled to be sent and that it's pending payment received, but my history is blank other than a tiny gift I sent last year.
This isn't a scam - we know the guy and he's a little bit tech illiterate unfortunately (a little older and wasn't sure quite how to use paypal) and so I'm wondering if it just never got sent?
How do I know he sent it? He hasn't picked up his phone yet when I called today.
