Has the payment been received

Hello i have a sent two payments to a person but he said that he hasnt gotten the amount that I sent. Is there a way that I can 100% be sure if he is telling the truth or not.

Are those transactions marked complete or pending in your account activity? Is the email address you sent money to, the correct one?

How do i see if they are pending. Yes i sent to the right email I am sure
