I just received a mail notice from PayPal, the gist of which takes away everything that was attractive and useful about having a PayPal account. The note says "The funds you receive via PayPal cannot be sent to other PayPal users or used to fund purchases." the very essence and convenience of PayPal is the uncluttered trading ease of on-line shopping, so now if we can't shop with PayPal, then I question why even having the account? The new rules go on to say:
"You must withdraw your received funds from your PayPal account to a South African bank account within 30 days of receiving the funds." I am curious to know; what happens if you do not/can not withdraw any balance within 30days? I have had an accumulated balance in my PayPal since 2012, so what happens now - is this forfeited!? Any knowledge sharing will be much appreciated. Thanks and Cheers. Steve
