Hi I have followed the support articles under "How can I add PayPal to Google Pay?" And attempted to follow the steps but unfortunately I just have no option to add PayPal. Could this be because I am currently in Malaysia?
I had this issue today.
You have to do it in a round about fashion.
Go to the play store on your device click the hamburger icon in the corner and click payment methods and add paypal there.
Now goto google pay and paypal will show up there as an alternative pay method.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
