Gift card scam

Someone said they gave me money and it pending right now, i just have to buy a $50 amazon card. So now i know it'a scam, but before i did, i send her my paypal.me account and she wanted to talk on whats app so i went there.. so she know my number... can she do anything with my paypal? Hack it or push me into dept? (I don't bought a gift card and i don't wanna)

If you're concerned, close your PayPal account and open a new one with new email address, create different paypal.me link, change phone number, etc:

Close account checklist:

1. Resolve any open disputes or account limitations.
2. Zero out the balance.
3. Cancel any active automatic payments.
4. Remove financial info (bank accounts, cards).
5. Go to Settings (cog icon).
6. Click Close Account under Account Options section.
7. Business accounts: Click Close Account across from Account Type.
