Getting emails for "Receipt for your payment" and "you paid"

Last week I started receiving emails for every debit card purchase. Two emails for each purchase "Receipt for your payment" and "you paid". This happens every year, and I go to my account and uncheck the "Make a purchase in store" box in my settings and notifications. Because for some reason, paypal will automatically check the box. But this time, the box is not checked and paypal has not responded to my emails. Anyone else having this problem?
