Fully verified Account - Paypal Unable to send Payments to anyone

Hi,

I tried sending to payments to my friend and he tried to send to me as well

Both of us have Indian accounts that we use for online payments

but we were not able to pay each other

We keep getting this error

this recipient accepts PayPal payments only through their website

I believe personal payments were enabled in India since April 2018

I am also thinking of a business account where I would be transferring money to people in the US on a weekly basis

are these possible with Paypal India?? Or is it just a marketing gimmick

Yes, India PayPal accounts cannot send personal payments to each other. Only export-related payments from buyers can be received and Sending payments for cross-border purchases is allowed.
