Friend sent me $$ thru PayPal.me link to personal acct and got charged

I have a business PayPal account as well as a personal so do know the difference between goods and services and friends and family payments. A friend wanted to reimburse me and I sent her my PayPal.me link. She says she was charged a fee.  I’m trying to get her to show me the transaction because I don’t see any notation on my end that says type of transaction that was completed. Once before I had a friend unwittingly click goods and services instead of friends and family; at least I believe that’s what she did, as I got charged a fee. So if a friend or family member is trying to pay me back I always tell them stop if it says there is any fee. Any ideas or suggestions out there?

Hi @Alocalgal,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

There may be a fee for the sender of a friends and family payment depending on how they are funding that payment. You will find full details of these fees here https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees#sending-friends-family .If the payment is funded from a bank account or a PayPal balance it is free to send it.
