Ebay will not recognise my Paypal email address

Everytime I try to list my item on ebay I get this message.

"It looks like there's a problem with this listing.

• PayPal email - The email address you entered isn't linked to a PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, you'll need to set one up with this email address so that buyers can pay you."

I am a verfied Pay pal user. But ebay still won't let me list my item. The email address for Ebay and paypal are identical. Does the user name have to be the same for both paypal and ebay? That's the only thing I can think of to change.

Go to ebay and click on 'sell' put in anything (as you aren't going to actually list anything) until you get to the main page > scroll down near the bottom and where it says payment methods check the email address that is on that page, is there a spelling mistake or old one?
