I was donating to a local charity on Friday and added an extra 0 to the £30 i was intending to send. I’ve spoke with the guy who I sent it to and he has said they’re happy to refund it if I request on through PayPal.... but when I did PayPal have denied my claim because it didn’t meet their criteria. Can’t anyone advise me please.

Hi @Tyronemcc,

Thank you for reaching out to PayPal.

Regarding your concern, since it is a donation that yoi eere asking a refund for, the counterparty should be able to issue a refund after you've communicated with them as per this Help Centre article:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-request-a-refund-faq406

You could also refer to this Help Centre article if the counterparty would want to know how to issue a refund on their end:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-issue-a-refund-faq780

If in case that you've already filed a dispute case and would need additional help, please do try to contact us through the help & contact link at the bottom of any PayPal page.

Hope this helps.
