I tried using my American Express gift card to send $17.17 ($15 Euros) to someone for their services. After I attempted to send it I got this message "We are sorry, but we could not complete this payment, because it has been denied by the card issuer. Please retry with a different card or funding option to continue with the payment.". Currently I can't use my PayPal balance until I get my ID from the DMV next week, does that mean I can't use my gift cards linked with my PayPal either? I don't want to leave this artist unpaid because I'd feel awful and also it would make me look awful. Would appreciate a quick response!
