Delayed or..?

I recently sent my friend, who lives in England, some money so they could buy a Christmas Present themselves due to shipping complications.. I sent them $749.63 USD = £553.69 GBP. The transaction receipt has been posted to my summary and facebook confirmation, however it still has not posted to my bank account yet. 

Your recipient should have the money by December 25, 2019. 

I did post this transaction Dec 24th in the afternoon/evening time. Is it just a matter of the holiday delay or is something wrong? Normally when I send money its put into my banks pending transactions instantly.

Don't worry, your account will be charge your account. Could be the holiday. Just keep that money available in your bank is all.
