Declined Payments

Hi All, I have been trying to use my PayPal account for payments to Microsoft and its always declined. My cad is perfectly fine, my bank account also and can't find a way to fix this. My phone number is NOT from the US and can't seem to verify it either. I have been a customer for more than 10 years and this has never happened before. Should I just close my account and pay directly from my credit card? No one answers my messages or phone calls. Thanks for your help. Juan
