Hello all,
Recently I sold an item to a customer, the item was damaged, so I prepared to refund him.
Shortly after the customer requested a refund/return via eBay, Paypal put a hold on the original funds the customer paid me for the item. That brought my Paypal account balance into the negative, for the amount of the original transaction(lets say $30).
In order to make a different, unrelated purchase shortly thereafter, I had to pay with my debit card $30 in order to bring my balance back to 0.
The customer with the damaged item's refund went through yesterday after I personally paid him via Paypal, and I was given the $30 that had been on hold.
Up until I was given the on-hold money I had spent $60: $30 to bring my balance up to 0, and $30 as a direct refund.
My question is: How can I go about retrieving the $30 I paid to bring my account balance up to 0?
Thank you for reading
