I have attempted to call customer service countless times and tell the automated system my situation and each time it'll say they can't assist me and it hangs up. Any suggestions on what to do?
I had money sent to my account from a client. It would not transfer to my bank account so I informed the client they cancelled the money now they're having difficulty getting that money back into their account so that they can resend it properly to me.
When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will as the transaction was cancelled return them to your funding source (if you paid from your bank account or with a card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from that balance), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
