Can someone in India pay into a UK PayPal Pool account? If not, is there another option for the person in India to get the money to the UK e.g. can they pay into a Personal PayPal UK account instead or is that also not allowed?

Sadly the option to send a personal payment ie friends/family or send to a money pool is not available in India.
The only option that they have is to send a goods/services payment to your paypal account.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
