Contacting paypal

I have been trying for weeks to contact PayPal by computer but wherever I seem to go they ask me to pay money to get information from them and I don’t like to do that. All I want is to be able to contact PayPal by phone, does anyone know what number to ring I am in Australia.

i am having new credit card problems it is activated but doesn’t accept it when I try to buy something 

If someone can help me I would appreciate it.

Have you confirmed the card with the 4 digit code?
