I seem to be going around in circles contacting Paypal. I am expecting a refund but in order to get the refund, I am being asked for my email address. When I put my gmail address (as opposed to googlemail) it says that my account is associated to someone else's (that'll be me presumably). When I try to email them, none of the questions seem to get me anywhere.

Unless its past 180 days since you paid then they don't need your email address.
All the seller has to do is click on your transaction in their paypal account and use the 'refund' option at the bottom of that details page.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
