Charges

I have 2 charges that shows up on my PayPal account as pre-approved but was charged to my credit card. I thought I chose to charge to PayPal as my preferred method of payment. Am I double paying?

All payments are 'paypal' payments the only difference is the funding source.

Do you mean you wanted it deducted from a paypal 'balance' that is available on your account?
