Sorry but how do you think they pay their staffs wages at the end of the month or make a profit to run the service if you don't pay for that service?
You pay Ebay to list and sell your item and that bill is invoiced to you on a monthly basis.
You pay Paypal to receive instant payments from buyers including from credit cards, that payment is deducted from your buyers payment before the rest is credited to your Paypal balance.
Ebay and Paypal are 2 completely different companies.
