Changing the way I pay

Why was I asked to change the way I pay for items on eBay when I am a long time seller /buyer. Was this a genuine request please. Many thanks

Sorry if this message has caused confusion. 

I don't quite understand what you are asking at the moment. Are you stating that you no longer have the option to pay using PayPal? If that is the case, eBay is moving over to their own payment platform shortly. However, you should still have the option to pay using PayPal in the 'Other Payments' section at checkout. If this isn't the issue, please further explain what is happening.
