Cant see money I have been sent

I sold something on depop and got an email saying the lad sent the money to me I then verified my email and I cant see the money anywhere

Are you sure the email was from paypal and not a scam?

I did think that but it literally couldn't look more legit same layout as other PayPal emails but i guess can never know really?

Normally you can tell from the content of the email and if the funds are showing in your paypal balance or not.
