Cancelled an online purchase immediately, but money still not in my paypal account 2 weeks later

Hello everyone,

I made a purchase (personal, not business) on 30th November for over £500, I paid through PayPal, using my balance and then the rest came out of my debit card.

The amount that came out of my PayPal account was £114.48.

I realised I'd made an error in the post code, so I cancelled the order with the online store immediately, and then repurchased.

The payment amount in my debit card remained pending for around 5 days, and then it disappeared and my funds were available again; however the £114.48 has not been returned to my PayPal account yet, and it's now 14 days later.

It's showing in my account as 'Pending' / 'Temporary Hold', but it's been this way for 2 weeks now. I've tried to call PayPal, but it's impossible to get through to speak to an actual human using their customer service. By time I get told by the automated voice that I am being transferred to an advisor, it rings twice and then hangs up every time. I've tried to message PayPal, but the 'virtual assistant' is no help. I tried to email and I have not heard back a week on.

It's really frustrating and I'm concerned I won't get my £114.48 back.

If anyone can offer any advice or reassurance that would be great.

Thanks very much,

Emma
