Canceled Payment

I received a notification about a payment into my account, but when I went to access it I received another notification that sender had canceled the payment. Sender has confirmed that is not the case and funds have left her bank account. My email is verified. Any idea on how I can resolve this issue?

Even though funds have left the sender's bank account, the payment can still be canceled by either you, the sender or PayPal (whoever has the ability to) but it still has to clear the bank and get to PayPal and they re-route it back to the sender. Bank payments can't be stopped at its tracks halfway to PayPal.

If the transaction status in your PayPal account activity says payment cancelled, presume payment is canceled. Contact customer service to find out why it was canceled and by whom:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.
