I recently tried to purchase a computer with my credit card using paypal. The order did not go through and now I have an unclaimed payment. I can not find anywhere how to cancel this and have read that it will either take less than a week or up to 30 days for it to time out. It has not taken money from my bank yet, just says "Your payment method will be charged when *company name* completes your order."
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
