Can't turn off automatic login for ebay purchases

Hi,

When I purchase something on eBay, I am already signed in to PayPal.

I have been into security settings, disabled faster payments and stopped all permissions.

And yet it is still logged in.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Repsac,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our Community Help Forum!

I am sorry about your issue. When you link your PayPal and eBay accounts, all of your PayPal street addresses are automatically added to your eBay address book. 

1. Go to My eBay. You may need to sign in.
2. Click the Account tab, then click Personal Information.
3. In the Financial Information section, find the payment method you'd like to remove and click Remove.

Please contact eBay for further clarification.

Thanks for the reply.

My question was about automatic paypal login on ebay checkout, nothing to do with my street address.

I have since managed to to be permanently logged out, so that I have to log in to PayPal each time I checkout in eBay.

I was worried that if someone got access to my eBay account, they could purchase items using my PayPal account unchallenged!
