Can't select from either Confirmed payment methods in my wallet (Credit Card & Bank Account)

Hello. I have an issue concerning fulfilling a payment to my friend from whom I have bought an item from. I have his requested transaction in my activity page, and I am able to open it and see whether to pay for a friend or for an item (I have tried both options). However, when I click on the "choose payment option" button, neither my account or credit card saved in my wallet appear, only the option to add a card. When I input my credit card information into the new card fields, I'm prompted with a "Successful link" message to my card. THE ISSUE THEN BECOMES where I am brought back to the original choose payment option window and no new payment option appears for me, appearing to form a loop. I have searched for hours trying to fix this issue.
