Can't see or receive an international payment.

Hello, I'm running into an annoying issue when trying to receive a payment from the USA.

I gave them my paypal link and they sent a screenshot confirming the transaction was made. But they said I need to pay a verification fee for the money to be released to my account. I haven't got an email from paypal saying I should expect the money to come or something along that line. My account is fully verified, I have my credit card linked and it's a personal account. Has anyone come across this before and know how to solve this? 

Could it be since it's an international transaction it's taking longer to show up?

I need help urgently please!!!

You are being scammed, you do not have to pay a verification fee and any emails you are getting are fake paypal ones, common scam.
