Hi so I tried to order something from a store online using PayPal and I accidentally chose my pre-paid mastercard as the payment method on PayPal (card only has $100 and my order was over $200). So the order didn't go through on the website, but I got an email saying the order was submitted through PayPal. It won't give me the option to cancel the order or file a claim so how am I supposed to cancel the transaction so I don't end up getting charged twice after I reorder my items online?

Its a temporary authorization, it'll expire on its own and drop off. If payment declined then merchant can't capture payment so again it will expire. This is typical, standard process when a payment or order fails. The authorization will expire.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I wouldn't go that far but keep an eye on it, to make sure it expires and drops off. It takes up to 30 days for it to expire.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
