Can a Pending Payment Invoice be cancelled on the Buyers end?

I already sent him the goods but im afraid I could get scammed. I sent out 14 invoices to people and every single one went smoothly except his. They all say "on old" where as his just says "payment pending". Can he cancel the invoice on his end?

Yes he can and i got scammed like that 3 days ago and paypal didnt give me money back 😞
