Can I still receive payment from a vendor that I cancelled a billing agreement with?

I recently went into my settings and cancelled a billing agreement I have with an online sneaker shop. I did this as I did not want to default to using Paypal to pay for items I plan on purchasing from their website in the future.
I realized that I sell this online sneaker shop some of my own stuff and they issue me payment via Paypal. Will this now be disrupted given that I cancelled a billing agreement/automatic payments I had with them for money going out of my account for goods I'm purchasing?
I called Paypal support and they mentioned that they can still send me funds/payment as a one-time thing but they didn't sound too confident on this.
Thank you so much for any advice and help you can provide!
