Hey, I was wondering if there's a way to change currencies after you've been charged. I just bought something online and didn't realise my preferred currency was EUR so I was charged in EUR plus an exchange fee. I would like to know if there's a way to change this payment now to GBP. I have managed to change my preferred currency now but I guess this applies for future purchases. Thanks in advance.

Hi mitthefish,
Welcome to the PayPal community forum. We are always happy to have new members.
I'm afraid the option to change a payment even the currency once it has been sent is not something we can do. You can, of course, ask the person you sent it to refund you and pay again using the correct currency but this may lead to you still being charged the currency conversion fee.
I hope this answers your question,
Paula
